About Me

Laura Menis was born in 1996 in Montebelluna (Treviso), Italy.

 

In 2019, she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Comics and Illustration from the Academy of Fine Arts, Bologna, Italy, and a Master's Degree in Illustration in 2022, from ISIA, Urbino, Italy.

In 2018 she was selected for the illustrators' exhibition of the Children's Book Fair in Bologna.

 

She is the founder and member of the independent label Collettivo Canederli, with which she has been printing comics since 2017.

 

In 2023 she completed a successful Indiegogo campaign, raising funds for Vita da Gattara, a comic written by Miriana Greggi, illustrated by Laura Menis and published with Collettivo Canederli.

 

When she isn't working hunched over her desk, she enjoys getting lost in the countryside, searching for beautiful impressions and clouds.
